After our fall break trip to Niagara Falls, the kids resumed school, Josh went back to work and I started a new job at Cuyahoga Community College! I am working just 20 hours a week and only during the academic year but I am running the learning lab/clinic for their PTA/OTA/med tech/dietetic tech programs. I LOVE it so far and am thrilled to interact with such an enthusiastic group of therapists, professors and students!
Josh and I also took a long weekend to travel down to New Orleans to visit Tabitha. We had fantastic weather and lovely visit!
Another weekend, we drove down to St. Louis to visit Quincy and to watch him perform the role of Captain Brice in the SLU Theatre production of Arcadia. He did a great job! We were lucky enough to get back to get together with friends from Stockholm who just happened to be in St Louis as well.
Before we knew it, it was Thanksgiving! All of the kids came home for a long weekend and we loved all being under one roof again. We hosted the Holiday meal for Josh's family and then joined mine for 3 days at a state park in southern Ohio.
And, since Thanksgiving, it has been time to get ready for Christmas. We seem to be getting a feel of a real Cleveland winter this year with some very cold days and some snowy ones as well. Max has even had a snow day already.
We have been enjoying friends, our usual activities and now the kids beginning to come home for the winter break. All is well on the home front!
