The Commodore's Ball!

Ooo la la... Doesn't that sound fancy?!  And, it was!  After a busy week of work and school (along with my usual fun activities of book club, hiking and biking...),

And, then a busy Saturday morning with Max's cross country race where he did a GREAT job and placed 8th out of a huge mass of like minded high school boys...

Josh and I got all dressed up in our finery and headed to the yacht club for the annual black tie Commodore's Ball.  We had a great time with some new friends, some fantastic lobster and filet mignon and then some dancing!  And, we were home by about 11 because we are some of the younger members of the club! Perfect!

I got up early on Sunday morning to work the Alzheimer's Association walk before meeting Josh back at the yacht club for a Sunday afternoon sail.  The lake was a little rough but we will had fun and managed our first trip without Josh's favorite first mate, Max.  I was a poor second choice but we did okay.
