Wine Country New York!

Another summer time week!  Calvin worked 6 days a week while Max did cross country practice, jobs around the house and his volunteer gig at the Arboretum.

 Josh was in California for part of the week but then home in time for a long but fun day of "team building" on Thursday out on Put-in-Bay.
While he was traipsing around the island, Max and I attended a meet and greet at the yacht club as our official member welcome.  We had a very nice time, met some great people, explored the club and enjoyed a great meal.

Then, on Friday, I received a text telling me that one of my very best friends from Stockholm was going to be just 4 hours away for the weekend in upstate New York!  Of course, we had to go!  Josh and I left the boys at home and hit the road to explore the wine country of New York state.  Absolutely wonderful!!  We were able to have a very fun visit with Nancy and Craig at their family lake house.  We went boating and swimming as well as doing lots of talking and eating!  Great time.  Josh and I stayed in a beautiful bed and breakfast that I would recommend to anyone!  We also enjoyed some of the local wines from the region and were very impressed.

And, on the way back to Cleveland on Sunday, Josh found the boat of his dreams!  Looks like we just might be the proud owners of this 30 foot Tartan by this weekend!
