He seems to be happy and having fun!
We also celebrated Calvin's 17th birthday last week! Hard to believe how quickly all of these kids are growing up. Calvin worked all day on his birthday but still enjoyed his favorite caramel cake and gifts when he came home.
On Calvin's day off, the boys and I enjoyed a wonderful day in Holmes County, OH with my parents. We had a great time eating and shopping our way through this Amish area.
The Amish produce was just fantastic and we even though we bought plenty, we ate it all up very quickly!
Max also started working his "job" this past week. He is a volunteer at our wonderful Arboretum. Because the Arboretum is 40 minutes from our house and Max only works 3 hour shifts, I am having fun doing some hiking and exploring in the Arboretum while he works.
Last weekend, Josh started his boat browsing. Josh has wanted a nice sized sailboat for about 20 years so we have finally decided to make this happen. We joined a local yacht club, at a perfect spot on Lake Erie, and we are now searching for the right boat. Even though we don't have the boat yet, we are also enjoying the yacht club for good food, great beaches, relaxing days, and a beautiful swimming pool!
On Saturday evening, Josh and I took part in the annual Tremont Trek. This "progressive dinner" takes you through 6 beautiful and unique homes in the wonderful and eclectic neighborhood of Tremont. We ate, drank, walked, and toured homes, as well as meeting some Tremont locals and winning a big gift basket full of coffee and chocolate! An excellent evening!
And, on Sunday, the Cavs finally brought a national championship to Cleveland after 52 years!!! Wow! That was exciting and I don't even care that much about sports. The city is going crazy! You would not believe the roar that was heard for miles and miles when the game was over and the Cavaliers had truly won. So much fun!
