While they were with Quincy, I flew down to New Orleans with my friend, Stephanie, to visit Tabitha. We had gorgeous weather and a fantastic visit with my favorite daughter! Tabitha is having a very good semester and we enjoyed exploring her campus, her city, and meeting her friends.
Stephanie and I even took the opportunity to attend a New Orleans style cooking class. We had a great time!
When I arrived back home on Monday evening, it was time to get some work done! So, we all concentrated on work all week until Friday morning for me when I attended my local cooking club and enjoyed a wonderful Caribbean themed luncheon. Max has been very busy with prepping for his first Model United Nations event, here in Cleveland.
Saturday was my birthday and I thoroughly enjoyed a day of being spoiled. Max made me breakfast in bed, I got great phone calls from all of the other kids, some flowers and cards from friends, and Josh's undivided attention all day long! He took a long, cold walk along the lake front with me and even went furniture browsing with me before taking me out for a wonderful dinner!
