We actually enjoyed the pretty snow quite a bit and since my work is flexible and the streets are always clear for Max to go to school, we didn't mind it a bit. On Saturday, I drug Josh out in the snow for a long, snowy hike. It was uphill, both ways, and we had to work hard to slog through some deep snow and some iced over creeks but it was fun and we topped it off with a good, hot cup of coffee at our favorite cafe by the falls afterwards.
I also enjoyed an afternoon with my cooking club. We loaded up on homemade soups and salads and enjoyed sharing recipes and conversation.
Max was named to the top honor roll for his first semester of high school and Calvin was nominated as the top academic achiever for his high school, to be named as one of the top state academic achievers. Pretty cool!!
Quincy tried out and was given a role in the upcoming campus production of The Importance of Being Earnest. Very exciting! He has been really enjoying some acting classes these past couple of semesters.
And, Tabitha is feeling good and way on top of things this semester!
All is well!
