I took Max over to school today to get registered and to take his placement tests! He is now all ready to start tomorrow! He is actually excited and ready to start meeting some new kids. We have already gotten him signed up for the track team and signed up for the 8th grade end of the year trip to Washington DC.
While Max was taking his tests and Calvin was still in bed, I took the time to just drive around and explore our new town. I am really excited and feel like we have chosen a good suburb to live in for this next phase of our lives.
Unfortunately, Calvin has gotten a bad cold and didn't feel much like doing anything today. So, we spent a quiet afternoon at home, doing all of the busy work that goes with moving and getting all prepped for school tomorrow.
Even though Calvin is not feeling top notch, he and Max are still very happy to be together and constantly teasing and wrestling!
This evening, we were given the opportunity to see our new house again. We don't close on the house until next week but our realtor let us walk through this evening so Calvin could choose his bedroom before he goes back to school. He loved the house and I loved it even more this time!
