we decided to take off for St Louis on Tuesday morning. Quincy needed to take care of a few things on campus, including picking up his television to pass along to Tabitha for the next school year, AND, Calvin wanted to do his first college visit at Wash U. Tabitha stayed behind to hang out with friends but we had a fantastic little trip with the boys. We were only in the city for about 24 hours but we managed two trips to Ted Drewes, a trip to the City Museum, a tour and admissions talk at Wash U, a walk around campus at SLU, a quick visit with my friend, Carol, and dinner with Quincy's roomate for next year. It was fun and great to meet Gus (the roomate).
Calvin really enjoyed his visit to Wash U while Quincy and Max hung out at their favourite place on earth, The City Museum!
I gave Quincy strict instructions not to lose his little brother in the museum while we toured Wash U. In the middle of our admissions talk, I received these texts from Quincy...
Always the comedian...
They had a great time at the museum and all made it home unscathed.
