Lots of Driving

We have been doing plenty of running around!  I have put almost 1500 miles on our car just since I got here two weeks ago!  Yuck!  Lots of things to do and people to see apparently!  On Friday, Calvin and I left before the sun came up to drive up to Muncie to attend his orientation at what will be his new boarding school in August.  We had a great day.  We loved learning more about the school, seeing his dorm, registering for his classes, and talking to his tennis coach.  We both feel like this is going to be a great fit for him.  So fun! (although his mom, dad and little brother hate to think of how much we will miss him)

After orientation, we drove up to Ft Wayne where Calvin spent the evening with his cousins while I visited my good friend, Jane, who moved to Ft Wayne the week that we left for Sweden.  So nice to catch up and see her new place.

Saturday morning, it was time to visit Josh's mom.  She had her shoulder replaced on Wednesday and although is not quite comfortable yet, she is doing very well.  She was not necessarily thrilled to have my physical therapy instincts kick in but she did her exercises as directed!

Calvin and I then had to make time for the huge Ft Wayne Three Rivers Festival before we left town. Junk Food Alley and the Chalk Walk were our two favourite events.
We then made the long drive home before picking up the other kids and immediately heading out to the graduation party of Tabitha's good friend, Nichole.  So nice to see all of those graduating seniors! Quincy and Samantha enjoyed being the big shot college kids at the party.
Max had his last day in Spain today and will fly back to Stockholm tomorrow afternoon.  He and Josh will then fly to Cincinnati on Tuesday.  We will finally all be together again!  Can't wait.  Max has certainly had a great trip however and we are all anxious to hear all about it!
